With some of our doctoral students, as part of an elective course on soft skills, we have begun preparations for a unique presentation, open, simple and understandable even for pre university audiences – but still supported by scientific arguments: PhD Thursday Talk.
The initial presentation topics are already defined, such as: (1) The mystery of the number zero in mathematics, (2) The Science of Leap Year, (3) The Power of Algorithms in Everyday Life, and more.
